Cauliflower Graten with Ground Beef
Boil the cauliflower until it is soft and drain the water.
Let’s roast the finely chopped onion and garlic in oil.
Let’s add the minced meat and continue roasting.
Then add the tomato paste, salt and spices and roast for 2-3 more minutes, then take it from the stove.
For the bechamel sauce; Let’s put the butter and oil in the pan and melt.
Let’s add flour and fry it for about 5-6 minutes until the smell of flour disappears.
Let’s add the milk slowly by mixing.
Let’s mix it until it reaches the consistency of pudding.
Let it boil by mixing for another 1-2 minutes.
Then add a teaspoon of grated nutmeg and salt and take it from the stove.
Let’s spread the cauliflowers to my square big loan.
Let’s pour the minced meat on it and spread it evenly.
Let’s add bechamel sauce over the minced meat and spread it evenly.
Finally, let’s sprinkle grated cheddar evenly.
Let’s bake it in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 25-30 minutes until it is browned.

Ingredients for Minced Cauliflower Graten Recipe
- 1 small cauliflower,
- 400-500 g of ground beef,
- 1 head onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 tablespoon full of tomato paste,
- 2/3 tea glass of oil (I use hazelnut oil),
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper,
- 1 teaspoon of allspice,
For the bechamel sauce:
- Half a glass of flour,
- 3 glasses of milk,
- 1 tablespoon of butter,
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- Nutmeg (it’s okay if you don’t).
For the above:
- 1 cup of grated cheddar.
